Surfers Paradise is known as the adult playground of Australia. We went there on a two day business trip to see what this playground had to offer and have faith in me when I say it was something straight out of a movie. Every girl walking around the first night looked like she was a movie star and I am sure none of them looked old enough to be allowed in the night clubs. There were more short skirts than you could poke a stick at and believe me I certainly tried to poke a stick at all of them. That may have been the alcohol talking that night but to be honest I think that if a lady is going to wear clothes like that then they need to expect guys to come on to them.

But this story is not about me trying to get lucky in a world straight off the television where all the guys and girls look like models. It certainly looked like an episode of Lagoona Beach and as far as I know many of the local girls are picked to do television ads and some of the lucky ones even get to star in TV series or as an extra in movies. The night clubs were unbelievable and they played all the latest songs. The dance floors were full and the drunken people off the party buses made the place come alive with drunken shenanigans’ of part nudity and explicit dancing.

The only problem was that I hired a car from the expert agents from car rental Surfers Paradise. Why was this a problem? Because after all the drinking I had done the night before we ended up catching a taxi to the meeting the next day so that I didn’t get caught DUI. It made perfect sense at the time and I still appreciate the idea of having a car ready in case I don’t drink so much next time which may make the trip that much more productive. I still always hire a car just in case we can use it though to this day I have yet to drive the next day.
