A trip to the Gold Coast should include a trip to Dreamworld. Dreamworld is one of Australia’s most popular attractions and has been now for around 25 years. There is a lot to see and do at Dreamworld and if you are planning to go there it is a good idea to take at look at the website, www.dreamworld.com.au, and plan your day a little. Plans should always be flexible, but knowing what is at Dreamworld before you get there will be a big help for some families. Maps are available online and when you arrive.

For the little people there are two must see attractions at Dreamworld, and they are Nick Central and Wiggles World. These are outstanding fun for kids, and grown ups as well. Nick Central has seventeen different rides and attractions; all based on the famous Nickelodeon characters. Featuring cartoon characters like SpongeBob, Dora, Blue from Blues Clues and Jimmy Neutron. This is a kid’s paradise of play. Try out the SpongeBob FlyPants’ ride, which plunges riders into an imaginary underwater world. The ride is based on the SpongeBob cartoon The Sponge Who Could Fly where we find SpongeBob inventing a series of flying machines, that don’t work. The ride caters for two guests per carriage as it takes riders weightlessly up an around a gigantic SpongeBob. And catch the SpongeBob SquarePants live shows for some great excitement. Wiggles world is a great adventure for the really little ones; go inside the Wiggles’ house on the Big Red Car ride and visit some of the Wiggles friends, like Dorothy the Dinosaur and Wags the Dog. Stop in at the Fun Spot Activity centre, with loads of fun and activities while you listen to the music of the Wiggles. Everyone little child loves the Wiggles!

Holidaying on the Gold Coast can be a holiday haven, with so many things to do and see, there will be something for everyone. Theme parks really are only a small part of the attractions on the Gold Coast, some of the best attractions are natural and free to visit, climb or walk along. Surfers Paradise is having fun on the Gold Coast

You can’t miss having fun on the Australia’s Gold Coast. One of our favorite attractions when visiting is the Wet ‘n’ Wild Water World. This is a full day of fun in the sun with rides and pools, and splashtacular fun for the whole family. You will find adrenaline pumping rides through to the quiet and relaxed dive in movies. Wet ‘n’ Wild is able to offer tourists and locals the chance to find adventure and excitement on rides and attractions all within a twenty acre sub tropical garden. What a beautiful day out for the whole family.

The Royal Life Saving Society has created guidelines to ensure water safety for your children. 0 to 5 year olds must be given constant attention, within arms reach at all times. 6 to 10 year olds must be in visual contact at all times, any 6 to 10 year olds in the giant wave pool must be supervised at all times. 11 to 14 year olds need to be physically checked at regular intervals while in the pools and on the rides. The water park has many life savers, but the responsibility for children lies solely with parents, parents must be responsible for their children while at Wet ‘n’ Wild Water World

Keep safe in the sun while at Wet ‘n’ Wild Water World. Apply sunscreen liberally and often. Allow sunscreen to dry before going back into the water. Wear a sun safe rashie or swim suit to help with sun protection, and when not participating on the rides wear a hat. Safety is a priority for the park and it must be adhered to for the comfort and safety of everyone who visits the park. No alcohol is permitted into the park, and sharp knives and glassware is also not permitted. Visitors must only smoke in the designated smoking areas; the park map will show you where smoking areas have been made available. No eyewear can be worn on the waterslides and visitors with plaster casts may be unable to participate in all the attractions due to the restriction of movement caused by the cast. It is also a rule of the park that no commercially prepared food may be brought into the water park. Safety doesn’t just start on arrival at the attractions. When using a rental car ensure that you spend time to become familiar with the car and where everything is located within the car. Use the owners’ manual to help find all the switches and dials that you need. Tune the rental car radio to a local station to listen for news and weather warnings. Choose your holiday rental car from carrentalsurfersparadise.com.au for ease of price comparison and choice of car rental company.

Surfers Paradise Car Hire

I had rarely gone to the Gold Coast or Surfers Paradise. It wasn’t much more than paddocks, a beach and a few streets of houses and motels when I last went there. We flew into Coolangatta and caught a shuttle to Surfers Paradise, which turned out to be a very quick trip. The shuttle was sent just for us to get to our hire car in Surfers Paradise. I really didn’t know much about the Gold Coast, so I booked everything in Surfers Paradise to make it easier, because that’s where we needed to be. We used carrentalsurfersparadise.com.au for our car rental. They were able to organize everything from their website. We chose from several companies, all placing their price on the comparison page, then we just clicked on the ones we were interested in just to check that they were right for us. This is where we found more detailed information about each car. We don’t care who we hire from. I just wanted a good price and a little car; I ended up adding a GPS, just to see if it would be helpful. It’s hard getting around in a new city.

The car rental company we rented through was able to show us how to use the GPS and even though we’re a little older, we found that it was easy to use and was the best way to find our way around. What a place I don’t think I have ever seen so many people in the one place. I am so glad we’re able to use computers. What a difference to book all our holiday myself. I felt quite proud of myself while coasting through the tourist websites and then booking our flights. I was very comfortable using carrentalsurfersparadise.com.au, they didn’t charge us anything. We didn’t pay for the car until we arrived and because we got to choose from different companies I was able to get a very good deal. We actually thought that we would have to cancel at one stage, and when I rang carrentalsurfersparadise.com.au, they told me that there would be no fee if I did have to cancel my booking. We made it to Surfers Paradise in the end, and on time. It’s not very often that we venture interstate. It was a lovely trip and carrentalsurfersparadise.com.au put my mind at ease, I even spoke to a real person when I rang up about our difficulties. I don’t think we’ll rush back to the Gold Coast; it’s just not really us. I will however be using carrentalsurfersparadise.com.au for my car rental bookings if I ever need a hire car again, I can rent a car just about anywhere in Australia, so I wont have to go back to the Gold Coast to get their great service.

Fishing or photo taking are only two of many holiday options

The first time I went to Sea World on the Gold Coast, I was probably only six years old. I had a black and white Polaroid photo for a long time, of me holding a fish and a dolphin jumping out of the water to snatch it. My brothers and I loved the whole day and slept, well like little kids the whole way home! But yes it was the 1970’s and my options did not include color photo. I was luck enough to return to Sea World three or four times in my early teens, when cousins from the southern states would come to visit my parents loved to take them. It always had a new attraction to entertain us, but we loved to see the dolphins the most.

I went back to Sea World in the very late 1980’s, to find that much had changed and there were now a lot more sophisticated rides and the shows too had evolved into a world class display. We were looking at their web site the other night to see if the kids would be interested in visiting while we are on holiday on the Gold Coast. We decided not to bother asking them and are planning just to book a day a Sea World. I know I want to go again, and my man can’t wait to go on the roller coaster. From such humble beginnings Sea World has grown to be a world class tourist attraction on the Gold Coast. Some of the other attractions along the spit, didn’t make it, but I think Sea World did because it was able to grow and evolve, and took some risks too. I am looking forward to seeing polar bears. When we book our rental car we use carrentalsurfersparadise.com.au, that way we can see all the local rental companies’ prices on the one site, not as confusing as trying to skip from one site to another. Quotes are very competitive because they are all competing against each other for my business. Sea World has a very comprehensive site, Google sea world. I am looking forward to making memories with my kids at Sea World and we will be meeting up with the cousins while there too.
